Hello fellow Designers and Creatives.
Today we are explaining the styles studio in Affinity Designer for iPad. This panel allows for you to apply a pre-prepared style to a selected object. They take advantage of effects, stroke, or text in some combination and allow for you to quickly make a predetermined look for said object. In the panel you’ll see thumbnail images of what those styles will look like, and can create your own styles and save them to the panel for future use.

The styles studio is found in the effects studio, and when you open it up you can see some pre-created styles and effects that you have the option selecting for your object. This will also work on multiple layers that are selected or groups, so if you know you want to apply certain style to multiple things in your illustration.

When you press the menu button on the styles panel you pull up a series of options that can apply to the adding and organizing of your styles. It allows you to add, delete or rename a category; import or export styles; and even add a style from a selected object or group.

There isn’t really much else to be said about the styles studio. It is a simple and strait forward way to quickly apply a style or look to your object without all the fiddling around with individual features and customizations.
