Failing Creatively: The Busy Week

This week I am thinking about what to do when life gets too busy to be creative in the way that you hoped you would be.

For me what started out as a week that was looking like it was going to be pretty productive quickly turned sideways with kids stuff. This is not a bad thing in my mind, because the activities I helped out with around their school meant I got to spend time with my kids and make the fond memories that they will remember when I am old and senile. Let’s get real I am a bit crazy so I will probably be senile someday if I’m not already 😜🤪.

As a result I struggled with getting much done beyond my work that was due. I did succeed in completing the ads I had that were due, and I did start a few projects that are in way to early of stages to share at this time. However, my art fail for the week is not finding that extra time to work on the fun stuff, which we all get to busy for at times and need to be able to forgive ourselves for not succeeding at everything all the time. It is ok to not get everything done, we don’t have to be superheroes who complete everything all the time.

This week is a short fail so go enjoy your weekend and I will see you next week with some Art and Good News.

Thank you so much for joining me on my journey.
