Teaching art can be tricky…

Especially when it is crochet

OK, so here is what happens when you take on a new art hobby. You end up with no time for an art post because you’re preparing crochet-ready kits for a class you’re teaching. We have a great park district, and I look forward to making more fun crafts with the kids.

For me, hobbies can really take me down the rabbit hole and, in the long run, distract me from other things. I have never been diagnosed with ADHD, but given my attention span at times, it wouldn’t surprise me if it turned out I was. So this week, I am sharing photos of what took up my week. Between getting kids ready for their camps and mom life, it can be hard to plan a weekly article at times. Wouldn’t it be great to not have to worry about being punished by the algorithm for not writing? I like that the people who do subscribe to my newsletter don’t seem to mind, though.

Sorry there isn’t more art this week. Between working on these kits for class, work, and my kids’ schedules, my week got away from me. As more of my life slowly falls into a rhythm, I promise these will get more interesting.

Till next time keep failing creatively, and see you next week with some good news.

Thank you so much for joining me on my journey.
