When you remove meat from your diet even if only for a few meals a week you gain a whole host of health benefits. Not to mention it is beneficial for the planet because by eating less meat you reduce the methane from animals escaping into the atmosphere.

Not only does throwing a coin into the Trevi fountain ensure that you’ll return to the eternal city (you’re supposed to throw a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand). However when you throw that coin you’re doing more than just ensuring your return, you’re also helping the city’s poor. Caritas is the charity that collects all the coins and uses the over €1 million to fund soup kitchens, homeless shelters, free supermarkets, and more.
